How the NALJR Network works
Step 1 - Call your home resort and pay your maintenance fee (always pay your maintenance fee the first day that you can).

Step 2 - Set your week, request and receive a confirmation and brochure if one is available. The highest rentals of the year are scheduled for rental between the weeks of June 20th until August 15th. Special event weeks (Race Week-location specific) and holiday weeks such as Easter, Spring Break, Thanksgiving and Christmas also offer the second highest return.

Step 3 - Fill out a rental agreement (don't forget to include home number and cell number in case you need to be reached).

More tips:
NALJR is not owned by any resort, it offers an opportunity to exchange and /or rent your week through networking sources.
Dates set outside the school calendar will rent at a lower rate, or for fewer days than a week.
Some properties will have seasonal rates at certain times of the year.
Based on the rules of your home resort, the cancellation policy may be 30 or 45 days in advance of check-in.  You should always be informed about the cancellation policy of your home resort.  It is your responsibility to call NALJR, Inc at least 30-45 days in advance of your home resort’s cancellation to find out if your unit has been rented.  If your property has not exchanged or rented 30 to 45 days prior to check-in you have the right to use the unit, move the date or lower the unit rental rate.
We take great pride in renting the unit for the best possible rate, but remember that in this economy, flexibility is very important in getting the unit rented.  Example: A "normal rate" of $1,400 in Tennessee may only go for $1,100 this year, due to the state of the economy.
Early placement allows for the unit to be exchanged multiple times and this leads to the ultimate success for exchanging or renting your property.
In other words, timeshare owners are currently waiting for the first day possible that they can set their usage week for 2011 (many resorts begin setting usage time as early as March of the year prior to exchange or rental possibilities
